BIPOC Adoptees is a US-based organisation specifically for Black, Indigenous and People of Colour who were adopted, providing community, peer support and advocacy centred on the racial dimensions of transracial adoption. For adoptees of colour who feel that mainstream adoption discourse does not reflect their experience, BIPOC Adoptees offers a space that explicitly centres race as a central dimension of the adoptee experience.
